‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: Chloe Bennet set for major Daisy Johnson makeover
When “Agents of SHIELD” season 3 airs on ABC starting this fall, you are going to see a very different sort of Skye than you did in the first two seasons. Specifically, she will be much more Daisy Johnson than any version of her we will see so far.
One of the biggest facets of becoming this character is a physical transformation, and that includes Chloe Bennet cutting off her long locks. In a post of Instagram, she makes it very clear that it is happening, clutching her hair nervously before the process begins. One thing we will do right now is give Bennet all the credit in the world for being so game for taking this on. Sure, she is getting paid rather handsomely for her work, but not all actors are particularly keen on altering their appearance for a role, and we figure that had she objected for whatever reason, the show probably would not have been that upset over a different take on the character.
We know that Daisy has a big role to play in the third season, mostly because of the role of the Secret Warriors and their emergence over time. While it is presumed that there will be some sort of time jump, ABC is deliberately keeping things as under wraps as possible. Can you really be that surprised by this? It is their M.O. and has been since the very beginning.
As for whether or not Bennet will post an “after” photo, we’ll have to wait and see.
