‘The Last Ship’ season 2, episode 7 preview: Is Chandler on the verge of finding new ally?

At this point on “The Last Ship,” we are starting to get a good sense of who the adversaries are. For the most part, we are looking at the likes of the Ramseys and the Immunes as people who we should be watching out. There are a certain group who want to ensure that they inherit the earth, and they are willing to do what they can to make it happen.

Are there still some potential allies that are out there? This is something that will be explored in next week’s new episode entitled “Alone and Unafraid.” You can get some of the details in terms of what to expect in the attached synopsis, and they include giving you a few more details on the Jeffrey Michener character.

“While XO Slattery struggles to evade the sub in the water, Chandler and the land team infiltrate the Immune compound. Danny poses as one of Ned’s workers and discovers that Niels, a.k.a. Patient Zero, is now working for the Ramseys. Meanwhile, Captain Chandler manages to encroach on Sean’s inner circle, which includes an important government official, Jeffrey Michener. Has Michener been brainwashed by the Immune propaganda along with the rest of the camp? Or can he be an ally?”

We are getting to the halfway point now of season 2, and we’ve already seen the tension build ever since the exciting two-hour premiere. We’ll have some other news all about this as time passes.
