‘The Bachelorette’ CarterMatt Podcast: On Nick Viall, Shawn Booth, and Ben Higgins as final 3 with Jessa

Can you believe that we are winding down this season of “The Bachelorette” in the way in which we are? We now have a final two of Nick Viall and Shawn Booth, and early indications very much suggest (at least to us) that this could be one of the most tense final twos in the history of the show. These people just do not like each other … really, at all.

In this latest version of the CarterMatt Podcast, hosts Matt Carter and Jessa do their part to discuss what was an episode that featured both overnight dates and family visits, which is what we suppose we have to call it now that there are not any actual hometown dates going on. Yes, the thought of that not happening anymore is still enough to make us sad, since it is one of the things that we liked.

We talk a little bit about who Nick and Shawn are as people, and of course we touch on the eliminated Kaitlyn Bristowe contender in Ben Higgins. Given the reports that he is going to be the next “Bachelor,” everything from here on out with him is more or less window dressing. He just needs to make a good impression.

At the end here we set up both the big finale in two weeks, and also of course the “Men Tell All” special and some of what is going to go along with this, including a surprising segment that the show is going to do about the internet reaction to some of Kaitlyn’s choices.
