‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 spoilers: Will we see a graduation anytime soon?

Teen wolf -

Apparently, there are many things that “Teen Wolf” and “Pretty Little Liars” have in common: Both are meant for young audiences, and both seem reasonably intent on keeping their characters in high school for as long as humanly possible. We at least know that the latter series on ABC Family is going to be bringing their mind characters forward several years in the middle of season 6; as for “Teen Wolf,” there is still no indication as to when graduation is coming … at least other than “it’s not happening this year.”

In explaining the future plans for Scott and some of these characters to E! News, creator Jeff Davis jokes about how long we could see these people in high school:

“We won’t get to graduation by the end of season five … We’re a little like The Simpsons where Bart stays in fourth grade for 23 years!”

The good news here is that like with “PLL,” Davis revealed that he and the writers have thought about ideas for if we could see some of these characters on the show longer than high school. Maybe you can change the name to “Twentysomething Wolf” at some point? The debate here is a pretty simple one, given that you cannot keep the characters in high school forever (it would be weird to do so as the cast starts to get older), and at the same time you also have a demand for a whole lot of episodes. The show was recently renewed for a 20-episode sixth season, and there is no word as to whether or not this will be the final season.

Now, let’s turn this over to you: How long do you want to see “Teen Wolf” last on TV, or at least in high school? Share with a comment, and head over here to preview more of what is next! Also, sign up to get some other scoop on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: MTV.)
