‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 5 preview: Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien cast take on ‘A Novel Approach’

We are progressing closer and closer now to the midway of “Teen Wolf” season 5 (at least the summer half), and going into next week’s new episode “A Novel Approach,” most early indications suggest that there will be fewer rave parties and more in the way of answers. We can only hope for something on the Dread Doctors, who are clearly starting to become leading contenders for “creepiest villains in the history of the show.” We know little about them still, other than that they have a tendency to constantly be in the worst place at the worst time, causing a pretty wide array of problems.

The synopsis below really is not the most informative tease for an episode you are going to ever get, but we imagine that it is still better to have a little something here on this subject than nothing at all:

“The pack enters Eichen House in order to learn more about the Dread Doctors.”

As for the promo below, this one is really successful for the most part just in reminding us of how terrifying the latest adventure for this team could be. Will Dylan O’Brien’s Stiles survive the stabbing? That’s pretty clear he will, given the entire show / world would fall apart if he didn’t. We’ll have to see where this story goes from here, but given that we are still so early in this season, we don’t exactly see the Dread Doctors going away at all.
