‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6, episode 6 preview: First look at Angie Harmon, cast in ‘Face Value’
Tonight, “Rizzoli & Isles” certainly aired an intense case that through Maura Isles into a tough place, and Jane Rizzoli had to go into overdrive in order to make sure she did her part to help.
So where does the story go from here? The next installment is entitled “Face Value,” and the story here is going to revolve around a witness suffering from a form of blindness that makes it very hard for the killer to be recognized. Want to get some other specific news in terms of what to expect? Then check out the official synopsis below, courtesy of TV Guide:
“A killer can’t be identified because the witness suffers from facial-recognition blindness. Meanwhile, scheming cousin Carlo plans to visit.”
This is going to be an interesting case mostly because it could force our characters to be especially resourceful in trying to find another way to pinpoint this suspect. It is also something that the police are probably not altogether familiar with. It’s a chance to add yet another wrinkle to a case.
As for cousin Carlo, who knows what will come as a result of him turning up?
The promo below offers some further insight into the story for this episode, including just how the death occurred. Honestly given that it seemed to happen as a result of some sort of massive trampling, it probably does feel pretty clear that even without face-recognition blindness that this would be a difficult case to figure out. Let’s just hope this one has some more humor than what we saw tonight.

Another Rizzoli family member? There are too many already. Just Jane and her wife, Maura, are what this fan wants.
