‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Veto Ceremony results and aftermath
While we’re sure that everyone would have liked to see a particularly wild and crazy Veto Ceremony and aftermath to it on “Big Brother 17” today, this one was very much cut-and-dry.
As Vanessa had said time and time and time again all weekend long, she decided to nominate Jeff as the replacement after Johnny Mac pulled himself off of the block with the Veto. This is a move that she wanted to do for the good of herself, and really the good of the majority of the alliance. He has been just as much of a schemer as Audrey, but he is also far more grating in the house, especially with some of the women. He was told about being put up over the weekend, and despite his protests there really was not much he could do.
The one thing that surprises us is this: John saying that he still wants to vote to keep Jeff, per his conversation with Vanessa. We really don’t get any loyalty that the guy has to a sinking ship. He’s been almost on an island most of the game except for maybe with Becky, so why do anything at this point to isolate yourself from consensus? It seems counter-intuitive to the great game that we’ve seen him play at times.
We’ll see over the coming days if there is any gas left in Jeff’s tank to try to save himself. Right now it is definitely not looking good, but this would not be the first time that a vote has flipped over the course of a week. What he has going for him is that James is hardly a strategist.
