‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 11 video: Is Cory in danger of losing his job?

Friday night’s new episode of “Girl Meets World” is entitled “Girl Meets the New Teacher,” and on the surface the story here feels innocuous enough. Basically, what you have here is a case of a new English instructor arriving at John Quincy Adams, and she is someone who immediately makes a big impression. She is bold, she is opinionated, and she’s a different sort of person than Riley is used to meeting, especially at school.

However, what happens when she finds herself in trouble with the administration? This is the main point of drama at the end of the promo below, where it is also revealed that Cory Matthews could in turn find himself in danger of being fired in the event that he tries to stand up for her. He always does teach life lessons like “stand up for what you think is right,” but there are consequences to that sometimes. You really don’t often get precisely what you want.

Still, we imagine that there could be some sort of twist in the story that eventually allows for everything to work out without a problem in the end. “Girl Meets World” is really not the sort of show that advocates its characters feeling emotionally devastated in the end. Therefore, there are a variety of reasons to have hope still, and that is something we will probably dig into a little bit more as we get further and further into this episode.
