‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Jeff and Vanessa’s conversation; what Steve knows

Vanessa -While there may be a “renom rule” that supposedly protects someone from being put up after they are told so directly, it hasn’t been used for a while in “Big Brother.” Also, there are ways to get around supposedly violating it anyway … such as telling someone they are going up without actually saying the words.

Earlier this afternoon, this is more or less what we had in a conversation between Vanessa and Jeff, where she made it clear to him all of the things that she knew he had done in the house. He didn’t even deny all of them, and spent some time throwing James under the bus, as well. He reinforced to her almost why he should be the replacement nominee, and he is now in his own words 99% sure that he is going on the block. Vanessa did a good job in his conversation with her; if he was a juror, we still think he would potentially vote for her even though she took him out.

Does Jeff have a shot against James? While he may get Jackie’s vote, odds are he won’t be getting much love from anyone else. The funny thing here is that being on “The Amazing Race” didn’t really hurt him. It is more that he spread gossip around the house and was disrespectful to people, especially women. We also think that Vanessa is doing something interesting and perhaps smart in using her LGBT status as a way to deflect any closeness to Audrey. In saying that she doesn’t want to backdoor a transgender person because it would look bad on her community, she’s making an excuse that people will buy. We don’t really think it has anything to do with it for her; Shelli last week seemingly didn’t want to do it because of fear of backlash.

In other news, there’s been a hilarious conversation tonight regarding how much people are going to tell Steve (mostly Clay / Shelli paranoia), even though he seems pretty well aware of everything including Liz and Julia. Also, a twin that some think Clay has is named Cole … and yea, it’s hilarious.
