‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Ranking Nick Viall, Shawn Booth, Ben Higgins for Kaitlyn Bristowe

Given that we are almost at the end of this season of “The Bachelorette,” it also means that we’re just about at the end of ranking the contestants. Maybe we’ll do this one or two times more before the final rose, but this is presumably the last time that we will have a chance to do this with Ben Higgins, Shawn Booth, and Nick Viall all still in the competition.

Granted, this is also a pretty easy list of contenders to rank at the moment. Despite however he may feel about Kaitlyn Bristowe, one guy is pretty clearly in third place while the other two are setting up for possibly the biggest showdown in show history (and we’re not even exaggerating this in this instance).

3. Ben Higgins – Very nice guy. We labeled him earlier as a lead contender to be the Bachelor. He should just be happy with that and not worry so much about anything else. There is affection here between him and Kaitlyn, but we do not so much get the passion that exists in the other relationships.

2. Nick Viall – Nick is really good at making a woman feel special, and forging a quick physical and emotional connection with someone. How real is that? The edit has made you question that. We personally do think that Nick cares a lot about Kaitlyn, but the problem here is that there are warning signs. If Kaitlyn chooses him she has to think that he is overwhelmingly worth the trouble, and there is another viable contender out there.

1. Shawn Booth – Sure, he’s been a little pouty as of late and we don’t know what he expects to get out of threatening Nick; but, we think that most of his anger comes out of the feelings that he has for Kaitlyn. He loves her, and wants to ensure that she is safe … and therefore with him. There’s obviously plenty of evidence out there that he is, as she told him previously, “the one.”
