Is ‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 6 new tonight on ABC Family?
Can you believe that “Pretty Little Liars” is halfway through its summer run already? That may not be a lovely thing for some people to think about, but it’s true! There are only 20 episodes this year as opposed to the typical 24-25 as of late, so we’re getting a little bit of a shorter run.
Also, we are not getting a new episode tonight on ABC Family. For some inexplicable reason the network has decided against putting a new installment on the air tonight. We’re not entirely sure why, since there is a repeat of “National Treasure” airing in its timeslot instead. Maybe for some reason they were concerned about there being less viewers following the July 4 holiday, but the network did air new episodes of “The Fosters” and the premiere of “Chasing Life” last night, and had no problem doing so.
When you do see the Liars return next week, they will once again have their hands very much full. For example, Lesli is going to be in the spotlight as an “A” suspect, and that is something that everyone is going to be looking into so much more. Also, Ali and her father may start to become a little startled by one of Charles’ latest developments.
Whatever happens in this episode, suffice it to say that it will set up the rest of the season effectively. With a smaller batch of episodes also comes less time for the writers to extend a story. They are going to have to be quick and make big, bold moves.
