‘Arrow’ season 4: Stunt coordinator James Bamford to make directing debut!
Amell learned the news about Bamford getting a chance to direct upon looking at the list of directors for the season, and hopefully this news means that this episode will be one that is especially filled with some great action sequences. Given that this is the seventh episode, there will be some time to build up to it after introducing some new villains, including potentially Damian Darhk.
For those interested in trying to secure a specific date here, think along the lines of early December. “Arrow” premieres starting on Wednesday, October 7, and given that we are not expecting the show to air an episode right before Thanksgiving. December 2 is a pretty good guess.
There are many changes and mysteries coming to the show early on in season 4. For one, the writers need to figure out how to get Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak back into crime-fighting form. Not only that, but Oliver may need a new costume in order to allow the people of Starling City to continue to believe that Roy Harper was the first Arrow. Darhk is believed to be the Big Bad for now, but who knows what will happen when the show returns?
In case you haven’t seen much of Bamford before, the video below is a worthy introduction.
