‘The Last Ship’ season 2, episode 4 preview: ‘Solace’ brings anything but for Chandler

Chandler is now back in charge on TNT’s “The Last Ship,” and one of his goals for survival is of course doing everything that he can to expand his reach. However, at the same time this is a very dangerous world, and almost anything that he attempts could inevitably be met with some sort of enormous hardship. This is something that Eric Dane’s character really has to be aware of going into “Solace,” the new episode that is coming to TNT next week. this is a story that will bring a new ship into the mix, but of course new opposition at the same time.

In the event that you have not seen the official synopsis for this installment just yet, just be sure to take a look at it below courtesy of TV Guide:

“Chandler sees an opportunity to add another vessel to the fleet when a hospital ship is discovered at sea waiting for Dr. Scott’s cure. But tensions rise when Chandler and his team board the ship, only to face an unforeseen enemy.”

What does this enemy want? Part of the fun of this story will be trying to figure that out. Meanwhile, the waiting game for the latest cure will most likely put a strain on the crew. Hopefully, Chandler has earned enough good will at this point for some of his exploits that it will be enough to keep the majority of the crew on his side for the majority of the hour … let alone the season.
