‘The Fosters’ season 3 spoilers: Rosie O’Donnell returns; Callie’s birthday

There is rarely ever a dull moment on ABC Family’s “The Fosters,” and this can be said even more so for special occasions. With this big of a family and so many different things to juggle at one time, it’s no surprise that something like a birthday party can start to be a little crazy.

We’re going to see said birthday party on the show’s upcoming July 13 episode entitled (fittingly) “It’s My Party,” and you can really blame Jude for the most part for everything starting to unravel. This is a story that will feature some fun (depending on your definition of said word) with a surprise party there, and you are also going to have a chance at the same time to see what happens when Brandon and AJ’s conflict rises to a new level. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“Callie thinks she’s celebrating her 17th birthday with just the family, but Jude surprises her with a house party. Jude’s surprise risks exposing both Callie’s and Mariana’s secrets when he innocently invites Rafael and Wyatt to attend. Meanwhile, Brandon’s suspicions about AJ’s behavior come to a head, and Mariana and Callie decide to buy a car together without telling their moms.”

While it is not mentioned in the synopsis itself, Rosie O’Donnell is also going to be back at some point in this episode as Rita. Rosie has appeared in almost a dozen episodes of the show over the course of the first three seasons, and this will be another chance for us to see what happens with her after all of the developments at Girls United.
