‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 3 preview: Is tension coming Jude and Connor’s way?

So far on “The Fosters,” Jude and Connor have become a very popular couple for a variety of different reasons, and it goes beyond them being a young same-sex couple, a relationship that is rarely explored on television. They are also human and vulnerable, able to make mistakes without it suddenly appearing like the end of the world.

With that being said, we do have to believe that they are strong enough to withstand a little bit of conflict, such as what we see in the latest video sneak peek below. In this preview you can see Jude and Connor have a simple disagreement over the volume in which Connor is playing a violent video game at. Then again, the operating word here is “violent,” which makes us think that it may not be so simple. Because of the shooting, Jude may have a hard time dealing with the sounds of gunfire, and this may be something the two need to talk about.

However, are they going to be mature enough to have an honest discussion over it? That could be one of their challenges here. While Jude may have a much older soul than many other kids his age thanks to everything he has gone through, he’s still inexperienced in romantic relationships. Connor is really not any different.

While we are hopeful for the future of these two, at the same time you do have to acknowledge that this is probably not going to be a perfect relationship. They have so much weight on their shoulders, every now and then they are bound to fall over.
