‘Big Brother 17’ spoilers: What we know so far

The premiere of “Big Brother 17” is just a matter of a few days away, and as we write this, we know that the contestants have already been moved into the house and the competition has begun! It looks already to be a fun season, and we’re going to do our best here to give you all of the information that you need to know (for now) in a single article, just in case you’ve been busy the past few days.

1. There are at least 14 houseguests – Could there be more? Let’s just say that it would be a little odd for the show to only give you 14 this season, since this is still an extremely long season of 100 days. There is a lot of time in there to focus

2. Notable houseguests – This season we’ve got the first ever transgender contestant in Audrey Middleton, who is mostly fascinating to us in that she is a serious gamer who would probably make a name for herself regardless of her backstory. Also, professional poker player Vanessa Rousso is the most notable contestant in terms of her preseason following.

3. The twist (or twists) – There’s a new one every week! The “BB Takeover” is going to allow a special guest to come in every week, introducing in the process some new wrinkle to the game in the process.

4. An early eviction – Based on materials that are out there, someone could be sent home by the end of the two-part premiere. Personally, we hate this, since it means that it’s someone we never see on the live feeds. Bummer, especially with the cast being supposedly smaller.

5. Aesthetics – while this may not matter to some of you, the designers created more of a Plexiglas skybridge this year alongside the Head of Household room. More total space!
