‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Premiere credits!
Let’s face it: If you are wanting some specific scoop when it comes to the premiere episode of “Arrow” season 4, it is definitely far too early for that. You’re going to be waiting for a good while! With that being said, we are pleased to say that we can at least offer you a little more information on the subject of the premiere episode’s writers and directors.
The tweet below from Marc Guggenheim makes everything clear, and you cannot be surprised that he and Wendy Mericle are responsible for this first episode. After all, she was appointed over the course of the hiatus as the new co-showrunner alongside him, and this collaboration should help the show since everyone is becoming increasingly busy in the DC – CW universe. As for the title, this was strategically covered up by a pen … but we can figure out here that it is at least not extremely long.
As for the director, Thor Freudenthal has done two separate episodes of “Arrow” over the course of the series’ run. We didn’t love “Al Sah-Him” too much just because the story was somewhat depressing, but his other contribution to the series in “The Climb” may be one of our favorite episodes ever. That battle between Oliver and Ra’s al Ghul was picturesque as well as perfectly-paced. His presence here should be a cause for excitement.
Filming on season 4 is still a little ways away, but our feeling is that provided that you do continue to get handed some details here and there along the way, maybe the wait will not feel anywhere near as long. Of course, we’ll have updates as they come in.
