‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 2 video: Mariana looks ahead

Monday night’s new episode of “The Fosters” is entitled “Father’s Day,” and there are going to be a variety of different things worth looking forward to over the course of the hour. We will specifically learn a thing or two more about family celebrations, and for Mariana, that potentially means getting a group of people together, including Ana. The sneak peek below gives you at least a little more insight there, and the plans to keep this a relatively small affair that is not jam packed with chaos, which seems to happen the majority of time any family gets together. (We’re not just talking about the show alone now.)

Since this particular sneak peek is about Mariana and not really anyone else, we figure we’ll go ahead and share the synopsis below again (if you have not seen it so far) for a little bit of added insight:

“As part of their annual tradition, Stef and Lena have Mike over for Father’s Day brunch. Jude surprises everyone, especially Callie, by inviting his biological father, Donald (guest star Jamie McShane, “Murder in the First”), to join them. Callie spends Father’s Day with the Quinns and hears some surprising news. Frustrated by his situation at Idyllwild, Brandon let’s off some steam with his classmates.”

While we’re getting a sense as to some of the touchstones that “The Fosters” wants to explore right now, there is much still to be revealed. Hopefully, we will get a greater sense as to what the long-term plans are for Mariana in this episode.
