‘Bones’ season 10 finale reaction: Did Pelant keep Booth, Brennan from living?
Throughout the “Bones” season 10 finale, there was a definite air of finality. The title for the hour was originally “The End in the End,” and there may have been a time when some wondered if this could be the last episode of the show.
Early on, Booth and Brennan made a decision that their latest case, one that just so happened to involve Christopher Pelant via connections only, was going to be their last. That only seemed to be appropriate, right? Even in the final minutes, it still appeared that Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz’s characters were going to go through with it. Even when Cam showed Brennan a video featuring Pelant warning her from “beyond the grave,” she did not even want to watch it. She wasn’t really that interested in closure.
Therefore, the episode ended with the two characters walking out of the hospital together, trying to prepare for what their future could be. That’s it. We assume that they are going to find their way back to the Jeffersonian at some point, but the show is making us wait to see what will happen. Interesting move on their part.
One of the sweeter moments of the night, at least for us, was getting a chance in order to see a wonderfully sweet moment between Angela and Hodgins, where they decided to stay at the Jeffersonian, while at the same time he also determined that he did not want the extremely enormous chunk of money who could be coming his way. He’d rather see it shipped all to charity.

this can’t be the end of bones it’s one of the best shows out there and I just can’t see booth and bones leaving it for good . maybe after she has the baby and shortly after but not for good taking a vacation for 6 months is one thing but not going back ever I can’t see that happening.they love their jobs and what they do and if they cancel this show the network will look back months or a year from now & regret that decision.I know every show wants to leave on the top of their game but it just seems like there’s so much more to the story of booth and bones and the gang before the end would seem right.
