‘The Fosters’ season 3 spoilers: The future of Jude and Connor

While we would say that the first half of “The Fosters” season 2 generated a good bit of attention for its Callie storyline, it was Jude and Connor’s relationship that really had a good amount of time in the spotlight as we moved into the second half … and now going into season 3. A relationship between two middle school students is not something that you see on TV every day, and of course there were reactions to that.

Now that some of the immediate aftermath of the relationship is over, there are of course many challenges that still remain. One of the biggest ones may just be a simple matter of trying to figure out who you want to tell, when to tell them, and if there will be backlash that comes out from the public. Jude and Connor eventually may want to be a normal couple, but that is not going to be easy for them.

In describing some of the story that you are going to see for these two characters, Hayden Byerly had the following message to pass along to Zap2It:

“It’s going to be a lot about them moving forward with their relationship. They have a lot of decisions to make about what they want to do about it. We’re going to see a lot of that as it’s developing … That’s what we’re going to see a lot of. It’s going to be a lot about sharing and who they want to share their relationship with.”
