Caitlyn Jenner’s E! docuseries entitled ‘This Is Cait,’ to premiere July 26

E! Logo -If you were to ask someone what the biggest story of the week is so far, it would be most likely Bruce Jenner officially becoming Caitlyn Jenner, and allowing everyone to get to know who she is for the first time. An extensive piece about her is in the latest Vanity Fair, and everyone from her family to even President Barack Obama has commented on the story. She also now holds the record for being the fastest person to ever make it to one million followers on Twitter.

You’ve heard for some time about Jenner being the subject of an E! docuseries, and we now know some further details about it. The network has announced that the title for the show will be “This Is Cait,” and it will premiere on Sunday, July 26. Obviously, it is no surprise that this is the network housing this particular show. E! has made countless money off of the entire Kardashian – Jenner clan, and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is one of their most-successful series.

What will make this show most likely stand out for the network is that the audience interested in Caitlyn’s story is exponentially higher than anything related to the Kardashians. Therefore, it is possible that they could bring in viewers who are diehard fans of Kim and Khloe, but also viewers who have heard about Caitlyn through the media and admire her courage. This could lead to this being one of the most successful shows of its kind in the history of the network.

All we can say for certain is that when Bruce Jenner sat down for an interview with Diane Sawyer earlier this year, it became one of the most-successful Friday-night broadcasts we’ve seen in many years.
