NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Sawyer Fredericks’ show performances still selling well on iTunes

Sawyer -

We’ve seen it time and time again when it comes to former contestants on “The Voice“; while they tend to have a variety of great stuff going for them, they do continue to largely struggle when it comes to staying power. There are so many different singing shows out there, and it is very easy in some ways to just drift from one to the next as they populate the TV schedule.

Luckily, so far Sawyer Fredericks is proving to be something more than that after his wire-to-wire win on this season of the NBC show. (We mean “wire-to-wire” in that we considered him a favorite from the very beginning.) As Sawyer himself commented on Twitter, his album of songs from the show is still in the top ten on the iTunes chart. This collection runs you about $10, but it contains all of the performances that he did on the show from start to finish.

Does this mean that we have high hopes for whatever he does next? We’re at least feeling that way at the moment. He already independently released an album prior to being on the show, and it is with that we know that he has the drive to compose great original music.

We’re sure that we are going to hear a variety of other news related to Sawyer’s future over the months ahead, so just be sure to be on the lookout for that! The new season of “The Voice” will still not begin until the fall, though auditions have already been held.
