‘Home Fires’ episode 5 preview: Dealing with death (and waiting)
Tonight, ITV’s “Home Fires” made its biggest move so far in killing off a character just four episodes into its run. Just in case that was not hard enough for you to swallow, you also have to prepare now for a lengthy wait to see what happens over the course of the rest of the season.
The next new episode of the series on the network is going to air come June 7, and it will be a story that has to figure out how Kate is going to move forward after Jack’s sudden death in a training exercise. Sure, there will most likely be a few other stories that come to light, but we have not seen an official description yet via the network.
As for why there is such a lengthy wait, the reasoning is as simple as the sole fact that “Britain’s Got Talent” is going to be hogging a very large percentage of the ITV spotlight over the course of the next several days. The show is going to be airing almost every day, which is great news for those of you who want some talent on your TV set! However, it’s not so great for those who want to see an added dose of a certain Cheshire village.
If we do have some other details on the next new episode to share in seven days, we will provide them for you here. Stay tuned for that and much more!
