‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: Kristin Kreuk tees up new story

Catch Me -The premiere of “Beauty and the Beast” season 3 on Thursday, June 11 may still be several weeks away, but based on what we are still hearing at the moment, it may be very much worth the wait. This is the season that will have romance and many more character moments than we’ve seen so far, but also have so much more mythology and an exploration into some things and creatures that we’ve never had on the show before.

All of this new information comes courtesy of none other than series lead Kristin Kreuk, who dished with TVLine at the upfronts for the CW this past week with the following tease:

“Vincent and Catherine are super-happy. They’re together; they haven’t been facing many problems. Gabe’s gone, [and] everything is roses and butterflies and it’s perfect … except that Catherine has been [in secret] communicating with the DHS about these potential other super-powered or beast-like creatures. They can’t figure it out. She comes to believe that they have a greater destiny and purpose, her and Vincent. They need to go after these whatever-they-are.”

Kreuk also hints that these new creatures are “different” than anything that we have seen so far, and there is a struggle to figure out what they are. She also hints that there are “potential rings” that are on the horizon, which is something that has been teased in some other promos and such.

Overall, you’ve got a whole lot to look forward to! Nicole Gale Anderson will be back in a much-larger capacity as Heather, and there will be most likely some other interesting guest stars stopping by along the way.
