‘Britain’s Got Talent’ preview: Will the Kingdom Tenors impress?
We are now in a post-Collabro era on “Britain’s Got Talent.” Just what does that mean? We would say that above all else, that really means that we are going to get a chance to see some sort of ridiculous array of classical singers on this weekend’s show. The season has been surprisingly light on them so far, but you had to think that sooner or later, the ITV series was going to start delivering them in droves.
In the sneak peek below from this weekend’s show, you can see that one of these said groups that is coming aboard is the Kingdom Tenors. They are a vocal group who have some amazing harmonies, and also can sing about as killer a rendition of “You Raise Me Up” as you are going to hear. Granted, this is still not the sort of song that you tend to really identify as one that will get your heart pounding with excitement.
We do think that these guys are very good, but it is admittedly going to be really tough to have two similar winners life this in consecutive years. We just do not see why the British public would go for that when there is the chance to do so much more when it comes to bringing diverse, interesting talent to the table. The biggest thing that they can probably hope for is a spot in the finale, and more than likely, they are going to have a show at that.
The only other thing we are worried about here? There are just so many of these people! It’s helpful at times to have a smaller group you can identify with.
