‘The Bachelorette’ spotlight: Meet Daniel Finney, fashionable man

Daniel Finney is not your average contestant on “The Bachelorette.” He is a fashionable guy, has an interesting background in giving back, and seems to be a very smart guy. Are we a little unsure why he really needs the show? Sure, but maybe he just has a major crush on Kaitlyn Bristowe or Britt Nilsson. There are a million different reasons why someone decides to take part in this crazy show, and hopefully we will get a chance to see him on the show for a little while starting on Monday night.

For the sake of full disclosure, we’ll admit that we may be a little more biased towards Daniel given that he was actually at SMU around the same time we went to school there. Granted, we don’t recall ever meeting him or spending any time with him. For now, this is just another contestant spotlight.

Name – Daniel Finney

Age – 28

Location – Nashville, Tennessee

Occupation – Fashion designer. He’s got a website, which is really effective at freaking us out completely thanks to the two zombie ladies he has put on the main page of it. He is also involved in some sort of philanthropy, so he may be one of the wealthier contestants this season.

First Impression – He’s definitely confident, but doesn’t come across as too cocky. He seems creative, and with so many guys this season who fit the typical “Bro” build, he may be able to stand out.

Worst Impression – He said that he wants to be like Prince Monaco because he has a “baller life.” We don’t know if we should be proud of him for knowing who Prince Monaco is, or angry over the use of the words “baller life.”

Prediction – Daniel’s a contender here, mostly because he seems to have most everything going for him other than extremely short bio responses, which make it hard to know just how invested he is in the process. He doesn’t strike us as someone who has trouble finding people to date, so why go on this show?
