NBC 2015-16 Fall Schedule: ‘Heroes: Reborn’ paired with ‘The Blacklist,’ ‘Chicago Fire’ premieres late
As you will see, some other highlights include the Neil Patrick Harris variety show airing on Tuesday nights, “Heroes: Reborn” being paired against “The Big Bang Theory” (or it at least will be once Thursday Night Football is over on NBC), and “The Blacklist” not moving despite a pretty terrible performance for it on Thursdays this spring. All times below are Eastern Standard.
Mondays
8:00 p.m. – “The Voice”
10:00 – “Blindspot” (new series featuring Jaimie Alexander)
Tuesdays
8:00 – “The Voice”
9:00 – “Heartbreaker” (new series, a medical drama)
10:00 – “Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris” (“Chicago Fire” will take over the spot in November)
Wednesdays
8:00 – “The Mysteries of Laura”
9:00 – “Law & Order: SVU”
10:00 – “Chicago PD”
Thursdays
8:00 – “Heroes: Reborn” (sort-of-new series)
9:00 – “The Blacklist”
10:00 – “The Player” (new series)
Fridays
8:00 – “Undateable” (live)
8:30 – “People Are Talking” (new series)
9:00 – “Grimm”
10:00 – “Dateline”
Sunday night is going to once again be NFL football, so there is nothing to see here.
As for other impressions, it’s cool to see “Blindspot” get the coveted Monday slot, and we’re thinking already that this show in particular may be a huge ratings draw. We hate the Friday comedy block idea, mostly because we like “Undateable” and feel already like “People Are Talking” will be the first cancellation of the season.
For those wondering, “Chicago Med” joins such shows as “Emerald City” and the revival of “Coach” in premiering at midseason.
