‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: First details on ‘Kill the Boy’

Take a look -HBO has revealed now some of the first details for their upcoming May episodes of “Game of Thrones,” and when the May 10 episode “Kill the Boy” comes on the air, things are going to get interesting, to say the least. How interesting? Well, it’s as much as seeing familiar people do familiar things, but in completely different contexts. Let’s just take a look at that synopsis now:

“Dany (Emilia Clarke) makes a difficult decision in Meereen. Jon (Kit Harington) recruits the help of an unexpected ally. Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) searches for Sansa (Sophie Turner). Theon (Alfie Allen) remains under Ramsay’s (Iwan Rheon) control.”

The reason why we think this episode is going to be difficult is simply because of buildup. We know already that Dany has made many decisions in Meereen already, but sooner or later she is going to make one that either makes her into the most-hated person in the city, or a beloved hero once more. She is right now on the outs, but there is still potential for things to change. A good bit of this could ultimately depend on Tyrion’s arrival. She does not quite know he is coming (and the same goes for Jorah), but he is the sort of adviser who can really teach her a thing or two about conflict.

Now, let’s also hope that this is the episode that Theon actually does something huge. We have been waiting to see something like that for quite a long time now.
