‘Outlander’ episode 13 preview: Sam Heughan’s Jamie faces a ghost from his past

Are you ready for more and more tension when it comes to “Outlander”? Well, you are going to get an opportunity to see that when the show airs its next new episode (entitled “The Watch”) in a week’s time. After starting to see Jamie Fraser settle in to life at Lallybroch, and be reminded in the process of what it actually means to be a Laird of the place, he is learning yet again that he cannot escape his past. The difference this time around is that we are not so much speaking of Jack Randall; instead, it is a different person from his past he will be forced to contend with. Let’s just say that the odds of it being tied to tonight’s cliffhanger are high.

While the synopsis below may not exactly be stuffed full of information, it does also remind us in a way that Claire does bring a great deal of skill to Scotland as a nurse, and that can be useful when people such as Jenny are in need:

“Problems arise with the return of a redcoat deserter from Jamie’s past, and Jamie and Ian join The Watch, while Claire tends to Jenny.”

Hopefully, the end of this episode will provide us with a variety of different opportunities to be excited and surprised about what lies ahead, especially given that after this one airs, there will only be three more before season 1 ends. Given that season 2 is just starting work now, it will be a while before we see what lies ahead.
