‘Britain’s Got Talent’ preview: Henry Gallagher tries to impress a girl

“Britain’s Got Talent” likes to make dreams come true, and in this case, they may be also trying to help young Henry Gallagher get a date. In the video below, you can hear the young singer perform a song that he wrote about a girl that he likes.

When you consider his age, the lyrics of his song are fairly impressive. What is just as much so is the energy that he brings to the stage. While he is singing a love song, he looks and acts almost like he is acting out every single feeling inside of him. Maybe things will change once she hears the song? It’s probably not going to happen. Not to be cynical here, but we feel like it’s hard for someone to respond after finding out someone wrote a whole song about them. Also, we feel like Henry’s probably going to get phone numbers from thousands of other girls his age after this.

We don’t really need to see the judges’ remarks to know that he will be put through. He’s just so endearing! He is the sort of kid contestant who could be really dangerous if he makes it past a certain point in the season. He knows that he has a talent judging from the way he carries himself on stage, but he does so without arrogance, and with such an earnest quality to him.

If nothing else, you can at least feel confident that there is at least one more very talented person added to the roster of people on the show this weekend.
