NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Mia Z, Brian Johnson react to elimination
With this said, part of what makes this particular show interesting are the surprises. You may never want to know completely who is going to be the person sent home, since there is otherwise no reason to watch the results shows. Thanks to this whole component with the Instant Save, the show has really managed to figure how to turn these into events just as much as anything else.
Luckily, both Mia and Brian seem to be taking their eliminations in stride, and they posted such in messages on Twitter tonight. The interesting thing about this show is that it really is not so much about what you do on it as it is the connections that you make and how you use some of those moving forward. Gwen Sebastian, who is now touring with Blake Shelton, is a good example of that. We’ve had winners who have gone on to disappear, but then people like Judith Hill, who just worked with Prince on a new album.
We’ll be back this coming weekend with more on the show, including contestant rankings and song spoilers!
