Is ‘Scorpion’ episode 21 new tonight on CBS? Hints on final two episodes

“Scorpion” on CBS is doing something a little bit different than most other network shows. Specifically, it is going to be ending its run prior to the start of May sweeps. This was a decision that was obviously one that was out of it control, and while we’re sure that some of you out there may have wanted it in the primo time for network promo, the reason to be happy is that you won’t have to wait long at all to see the final two stories of the season!

Unfortunately, you are going to be forced into waiting at least one more week, as there is no new episode airing tonight. Many networks are going with repeats of various programs tonight; “Gotham” does not return to Fox until next week, and “Castle” will not be returning until Monday, April 20 as it kicks off its final stretch run of the season.

In getting back to “Scorpion,” what you can expect to see from the final installments is first and foremost a story that may feel in some ways like a two-parter of epic proportions. Both “Cliffhanger” and “Postcards from the Edge” were written by executive producers Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, which means to us that they are of special importance. We also know that Walter has a pair of very key decisions that he has to make:

1. Determining the future of Team Scorpion, which has proven to be very successful in a Superfriends-without-powers sort of way.

2. Also, figuring out if there is more of a future between Walter and Paige. While we don’t expect anything definitive, we would anticipate at least a little more information.
