‘Faking It’ season 2: Katie Stevens, cast still waiting on return date
If you are waiting to find out when the premiere of “Faking It” season 2B is, you’re not alone. Even the cast is currently wondering still the same exact thing.
In a new post on Twitter, Katie Stevens herself (otherwise known as Karma) confirmed that she has not heard when the show is returning to MTV, either. We know that the first season started in late April, but we figure that if the series was coming back at that point, we would have already heard about it. Couple this with the fact that “Finding Carter” is airing in the show’s old timeslot, and you are only adding to the uncertainty.
We would honestly not be surprised if the show was put on hold until the summer, mostly because this is where “Awkward” used to air back when it was first starting out as a series. Given that kids and college students are out of school and there is a little less on their plate, we’ve always felt like this is a good spot for these episodes. Granted, some of them also have a whole lot of other stuff going on, but there is a trade-off no matter when the show airs.
Ultimately, the big thing to remember here is that the show will eventually be coming back, and it is really just a question of when at the moment. The remaining episodes of season 2 have already been filmed, and unless something shocking happens, we feel reasonably hopeful that there will be a third season. Given the press and the fan following “Faking It” has, why do anything different?

That’s MTV for you. Going downhill since 2001. I sometimes wonder how they still exist.
