‘Scorpion’ episode 19 preview: Hand-holding and harsh fires

If you are a major fan of CBS’ “Scorpion,” there are ultimately a pair of very-different ways in which you can read the latest promo below. From one vantage point here, we have a tease at what looks to be a very dangerous sequence of events, and one of the most-intense episodes of the season as the team has to figure out what to do next following a fiery incident revolving around a helicopter.

Then, there is another read on this that could have many excited in their own way: Are Walter and Paige holding hands at the end of this? The obvious interpretation of this could mean that this spark could lead to romance, and while we do think that could happen eventually, it may take a little while still. After all, just remember here that we are almost through an entire season, and this hand-holding may be more out of comfort for the situation.

Still, it is a step in that direction, and we don’t really think CBS afford anymore doing the sort of thing that involves making you wait for five or six seasons (or longer, if you are “NCIS”) to see a “will they or won’t they” couple get together. We feel like the real ceiling for the show here should be a few seasons. Figure out what you want to do with these two, and then see what comes after getting them together if you go in that direction. There can still be drama in the end.
