‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Christine Baranski on Gary Cole’s return

Good Wife -Season 6 of “The Good Wife” has been jam-packed full of guest stars. We’ve seen the likes of Taye Diggs, Michael J. Fox, David Hyde Pierce, Ed Asner, Carrie Preston, and so many more over the course of the past fourteen episodes; heck, we’ve even heard the voice of Josh Charles (even if we did not see his body).

Moving into Sunday night’s episode, Gary Cole is coming back! Kurt McVeigh is the sort of person you would really like to see more of no matter how you splice it, given that he is Diane’s husband and you would assume he’d be around a little more than he is. This just means that you have to take advantage of him however much you see him!

For a basic rundown of what some of his scenes are going to be like, take a look at what Christine Baranski had to say in a new TVLine interview:

“We go out hunting together, and I meet up with a Republican billionaire [played by Oliver Platt] … It’s so great to see that two people can be married and disagree politically, and have a political discourse that doesn’t derail the relationship.”

We are going to see Cole back for multiple episodes, so don’t just look at this particular hunting trip as the end. The reason that we don’t see Cole more is fairly simple: He is a key player now over on HBO’s “Veep,” and that only gives him a certain amount of flexibility in terms of what he can do.
