‘Empire’ episode 10 preview: ‘Sins of the Father’ brings in Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige

Are you ready to see what lies ahead on “Empire“? Next week’s new episode is entitled “Sins of the Father,” and we can tell you already that there will be one extremely notable guest star stopping by in Jennifer Hudson. She will be a musical powerhouse, and interestingly enough, she will not be the only major guest star who stops in during the hour. We’re also going to have a chance to see Mary J. Blige step in for a part as someone who knows Lucious incredibly well.

With a title like the one we just mentioned, you know that things are going to get interesting. If you don’t believe what we are saying here already, then the attached synopsis should do the trick:

“Andre forms a new musical relationship with Michelle (guest star Jennifer Hudson), and a woman from Lucious’ past, Angie (guest star Mary J Blige), comes into the picture. Meanwhile, Lucious invites the whole family over to his home. However, everyone arrives with their own agendas. Hakeem, under the influence of Camilla (guest star Naomi Campbell), sets out to show his father that he’s a true artist and a good businessman. Then, Cookie prepares to state her own agenda for Empire and for her family, when Olivia (guest star Raven-Symoné) arrives.”

Isn’t it pretty easy to figure out why so many people love this show? After seeing the story tonight, and also the roster of guest stars coming up, it is no surprise that this Fox series has turned into one of the biggest smash hits out there.
