‘The Last Ship’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Anger Management’ actor snags recurring role

The Last Ship -Since we have not had a whole lot of news to share on “The Last Ship” as of late, why not set sail at the moment with a tiny new update?

According to a new report coming in from TVLine, former “Anger Management” actor Stephen Monroe Taylor has been booked for a recurring role on the TNT drama’s second season. Who will he play? Think along the lines of Flea (yep, that’s really his name), a Flea who is a very different sort of survivalist than Chandler or some of this show’s other crew members. He did not make it to where is today due to bravery or anything similar to that. Instead, he managed to earn his safety more due to a certain weasel-like disposition, where he could sneak his way in and out of situations. Basically, he managed to prepare himself for almost anything at almost any time.

“The Last Ship” proved itself to be a sensation for TNT during its first season, scoring some great ratings for the network and also creating an interesting take on a post-apocalyptic world. Typically, we’re accustomed to seeing something like “The Walking Dead,” where there are a trail of bodies and we see the action focused mostly on the land. This show brings a different perspective, and it has exceeded many expectations.

We’ll get a chance to see where the story on “The Last Ship” goes moving forward when the second season premieres this summer.
