‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5, episode 16 preview: Maura tries to find … herself
“Rizzoli & Isles” likes to mix the comedy with the drama, and it feels on the surface like we could have a little bit of both on next week’s new episode “In Plain View.” In real life, identity theft is a very serious issue. However, more often than not it is painted with more of a comedic lens on TV shows. This is just a part of what will be the story on TNT next week.
What about the other storyline? Based on the synopsis below, Jane and company are going to have to do some work with a detective outside of their typical circle in order to catch a dangerous killer. Are they going to be capable of working well with others? At this point, they should have some experience with it. Take a look:
“After a man is found bludgeoned to death on the side of the road, Jane and the squad team up with another detective who believes he is hunting the same roadside killer. Meanwhile, Maura discovers she has had her identity stolen and recruits Angela to help track down the culprit.”
Are are getting closer to the end of this season, so we do assume that before long, we are going to see the show set up more of what could be the potential endgame here. There’s no need to worry about a cancellation anytime soon, though; you’ll be seeing Sasha Alexander, Angie Harmon, and the rest of the cast once again next summer.
