‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Kaitlyn Bristowe, Chris Soules monkey around in Bali

Kaitlyn -Bali is the setting for Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelor,” and if there is one thing that the latest sneak peek below (via TV Guide) shows us, it is that there will be plenty of fun fish-out-of-water scenarios.

So far this season, Chris Soules really has had the advantage. After all, we’ve seen his home state of Iowa, and even some of the other places are all locations in which he is pretty comfortable. We cannot imagine him feeling anywhere close to that way about being in Indonesia, where we have different languages and different manners of living. One of them, at least in parts, revolves around a heavy population of monkeys.

The aforementioned peek shows Chris on a date with Kaitlyn Bristowe, where they run into a number of hungry monkeys desperate to grab bananas from them. One of them also was apparently desperate to urinate all over Chris’ shirt. (Bummer; it was a nice shirt!) We liked the attitude that both he and Kaitlyn had about it, though; neither freaked out or got upset, and just tried to roll with the punches. Grated, we’re sure that production has another few shirts on standby.

What is most interesting about this preview from a romantic point of view is Kaitlyn saying that despite whatever front she manages to put on, she is still for the most part insecure in regards to her feelings, and does not have the courage all the time to take what she wants.

Even if this date ends up going pretty terribly for Kaitlyn, maybe there is still a silver lining coming for her eventually. After all, she is currently one of the favorites to be named “The Bachelorette” alongside Britt Nilsson and Becca Tilley.
