‘The Bachelor’ CarterMatt podcast: Talking hometown dates, Jade Roper’s photos, more with Jessa

Let’s face it: We had a ton of “The Bachelor” over the past several days. We had a chance to see “Chris Tells All,” hometown dates, and drama in Arlington, Iowa all in the span of 48 hours. When the dust settled, we were left with a final three of Becca Tilley, Whitney Bischoff, and Kaitlyn Bristowe. One of them will be the winner, and one of them will at least have a decent shot of being “The Bachelorette.”

In this new edition of the CarterMatt Podcast, we (being Matt Carter and Jessa) talk about how the editing for Monday night’s episode in particular started to convince us that the show wants to make Britt Nilsson into “The Bachelorette,” regardless of how the fan community seems to be more behind either Kaitlyn or Carly Waddell. We also talk about how Carly was thrown somewhat to the editing wolves during her time in Iowa.

Also in this podcast, we discuss everything from Andi Dorfman’s emotional interview to Jade Roper’s photo shoot, Whitney’s sister, Becca’s lack of genuine air time, and everything else related to the franchise at the moment. Next week we’re going to be going into the overnight dates for the first, and then following that, we are going to have a chance to see the “Women Tell All” special. That should tape at some point over the next week or so, at least if it follows the pattern of some other recent seasons.
