‘The Flash’ episode 14 video: Harrison Wells ‘theroizes’ about time travel
How much is Harrison Wells going to be able to keep it cool when it comes to time travel? To us, that is one of the most intriguing questions at the moment in regards to Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Flash.”
In the sneak peek below (via Comic Book Resources), Wells has to deal with a variety of different theories in regards to time travel, which are brought to him by Cisco Ramon and Joe West. These two guys embarked on a mini-investigation during this past new episode, where they each learned quite a few pieces of pertinent information regarding how something like this seemingly took place. Barry Allen being there the night of his mother’s murder as an adult was not exactly an enormous shock given that we knew time travel was a part of this universe, but the way it came about was still fun.
While Barry, Cisco, and Joe listen on, Harrison has no real answers … though he does clearly know a thing or two about how it is possible, given that this seems to be the only way he could have been present for Nora Allen’s murder and the Reverse Flash fight recently.
What we wonder is this. Was Adult Barry in the past there because of what Adult Barry in the present learns now? If so, we are on a continuous loop in a way, since it makes you wonder what happened here in the original universe of this tale when Adult Barry did not show up. Conceivably, there had to be a timeline in which this happened, given that there would not be a motive for Grant Gustin’s character to otherwise make the move.
