‘The Originals’ season 2, episode 14 spoilers: Surprises during Hayley, Jackson’s wedding

Fans of “The Originals,” you better be prepared for something big. Monday night is going to be a huge episode of the show. It is the wedding of Jackson and Hayley, and that may be the most significant event of the entire season so far. If she gets married to him, there are clear political advantages that come with that. However, this also keeps her apart from Elijah. There is no real solution here that actually gives her everything that she really wants, and that makes this tricky.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Michael Narducci explains some of what you can expect to see in this installment, including a few shockers along the way that may knock you over in surprise:

“A lot of the times we choose titles that have some reference to New Orleans, and this was a Thomas Dolby song. We just loved the title … There’s some different meanings after you watch the episode, but I guarantee you there’s also more than one way to look at it. What you might want to ask is who could potentially be speaking those words and who in this episode is saying goodbye and to whom are people saying goodbye. I think that as you can imagine, there’s a few twists and turns in here and it might be that there’s some tragedy in addition to all this romance and beauty. So without giving away spoilers, I think you’ll understand as soon as you see the last frame.”

Ultimately, our advice is simple: Watch this one live. If you record it and expect to watch later, you’re really only hurting yourself when it comes to getting potentially spoiled online.
