‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 spoilers: More on difficult Jackson, April storyline

The future -We have learned many things about “Grey’s Anatomy” over the years, but one of the larger ones is merely that this is not a show that tends to cut corners. They show difficult situations often featuring their characters, and they do not tie up things in a neat little bow.

Ultimately, this is probably not great news when it comes to the April and Jackson characters. We know already that they have gone through some terrible times, and unfortunately, there is not a whole lot of evidence that things are going to be getting any easier for them sooner rather than later. As star Jerrika Hinton (who plays Stephanie and has been very involved in this story from the onset) tells E! News, this will be a story that causes discussion in regards to the situation and how Sarah Drew and Jesse Williams’ characters choose to deal with it:

“I’m excited for the debate that the Japril baby’s fate is going to bring up … It’s a smart thing that the writers have done and I’m excited to see what people think of it. It’s a real life decision that people have to wrestle with, and this is something Shonda Rhimes does all the time, reflecting real life issues on screen.”

This is only one of many tough storylines right now on “Grey’s Anatomy,” given that we are also dealing with Meredith and Derek’s struggles, and also the ultimate fate of Dr. Herman. Hopefully, there are going to be some lighter stories soon to balance it out. Can Owen have a little bit of fun, please?
