‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 14 preview: Taylor Kinney’s Severide gets an offer

Severide -In some ways, next week’s new episode of “Chicago Fire” is the one that is airing tomorrow night. After all, many of the characters you saw on tonight’s new episode are going to carry over to “Chicago PD” as the story regarding the arson and Leslie Shay’s death is hopefully resolved.

We feel like we have already discussed this episode pretty extensively, so for this article, we wanted to take a slightly different approach here and preview further “Call It Paradise,” the next new episode of the show airing a week from tonight. The show will move forward from what happened to Shay, and focus instead on a subject that was front and center throughout most of the midwest this week: Ice storms.  It is almost an ironic mixture of fire and ice. There will be a big story ahead when it comes to Severide, and you can also expect even more emotional Chief Boden moments as he starts to figure out what the future for his father could be.

To get some other news in terms of what could lie ahead, take a look at the synopsis below:

“Mills (Charlie Barnett) and Brett (Kara Kilmer) race to recover a missing teenager and are left stranded in the unforgiving elements, while the rest of Firehouse 51 babysits an abandoned newborn. Meanwhile, Lt. Severide (Taylor Kinney) receives an interesting job proposal and Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) finds himself at odds with his father (guest star Richard Roundtree) over his treatment and the planning of a big party in his honor.”
