ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and a ‘Reckoning’ tease
We don’t really think that we are blowing you out of the stratosphere when we say that “Reckoning” is going to be one of the biggest episodes of “Castle” season 7. It could end up being one of the biggest of the entire series when it airs on Monday, February 16. This is the end of the two-parter featuring the return of Michael Mosley and Annie Wersching as Jerry Tyson and Dr. Kelly Nieman, and depending on how it ends, it is very well possible that this could mark an end to the 3XK saga. After all, you have to imagine that at some point, someone is going to take out one of these characters.
At the moment, ABC is of course being just about as coy as coy can be, knowing full well that they do not want to give away anything too substantial until at least after the first part of the story airs. With that being said, we do have a short synopsis right now courtesy of SpoilerTV. If nothing else, think about this as a great way to start to prepare a little bit for what lies in the near future:
“The 12th precinct tries to stop Dr. Kelly Nieman and Jerry Tyson before they claim another victim.”
Should you be worried about Castle (Nathan Fillion), Beckett (Stana Katic), or one of our other main characters? While we feel like it is unlikely that we will lose a longtime character from the show, it certainly is possible. They’ve done it before with Montgomery.

I love the Castle series, but taking this long to explain what happened to Castle during his disappearance has left me and many other avid watchers a disillusioned with the series.. Brining back 3XK will be interesting, but if it doesn’t explain what occurred with Castle, then the writers have fallen flat on their faces. Many people have lost interest in the series due to the fact that it has gone way out of line with the slightest reality and has taken on a bit of an outer space idea. Things have become very irrelevant and I can see why the idea of cancelling was entertained. It’s good to have a cliff hanger to keep people interested over the summer, but this has gone beyond being a cliff hanger. Most have lost interest in that story line. .

What do I want to see in this episode (15)? I want to see the end of 3xk. I ended him in season 5 but apparently the writers can resurrect the dead. I guess they will break Bracken out of prison next or breathe life into Beckett’s mother. Having appeared only twice in 6 1/2 years I consider him irrelevant and totally inept at murder since we have not even heard of him killing anyone anywhere in 2 years or more. You would think that the writers would have at least mentioned him as a possible suspect in Castle’s disappearance or would have mentioned him in connection with murders occurring outside the 12th starting in about episode 9 or 10 or later.

Not only is it a new episode but it has Castle and Beckett working together. And, Castle is working with Beckett at the invitation of the 12th. Hopefully this will springboard Castle back with the 12th in time for him to work with Beckett against 3xk and the doctor. If not the writers have fallen asleep at the switch, again!!! It also puts Castle in a precarious position which should add some tension and suspense.
