‘Switched at Birth’ season 4, episode 5 video: Daphne and her study group clash
Apparently, it turns out that not all study groups are nearly as fun as they are made out to be on “Community.” The latest sneak peek for Tuesday night’s new “Switched at Birth” episode teases that there is some major drama ahead for Daphne in school, and much of it comes from her and some of her other classmates suffering from what is very clearly a difference of opinion.
The study group was assigned at one point to take part in an extensive research project revolving around one element of the periodic table, and we hear from other members that they are interested in doing Florine and lithium. Meanwhile, Daphne seems to be a whole lot more interested in cobalt, though no one else in her group seems to be altogether interested in listening to her.
Do we expect conflict here? Definitely, and we anticipate this continuing as we get deeper and deeper into the season so long as Daphne continues to struggle getting on the same page with her other students. She comes across like she feels like she is capable of doing more work than the other students, and wants to do an independent project to go along with what she is working with her group on.
None of this sounds good in the end. If she wants to have an opportunity to fit in, she needs to realize that sooner or later, being so aggressive is not going to be a good thing for her.
