Is ‘Chicago Fire’ season 2, episode 13 new tonight? What to expect

Fans of “Chicago PD,” we know that waiting can be hard. It probably feels that way even more when you know that there is a crossover episode coming not too far in the future.

Unfortunately, you’re going to have to wait for it one more week. After this past episode entitled “Disco Bob,” the NBC crime drama is not blasting out a new episode tonight. Part of the reason for that is to save much of the good stuff for next week. After all, Thursday is the start-of-sorts for the huge February sweeps period, which is when many networks bust out their best programming and specials. With this in mind, expect quite a few new episodes to air throughout the month ahead.

As for what else you can expect when the show returns next week, there will be the conclusion to a story started in “Chicago Fire” about the death of Leslie Shay. The Fire Department and the Police Department are going to be working in tandem to figure out who started the fire that led to her terrible death at the start of “Chicago Fire” season 3.

As for a specific character story, be on the lookout for something big from Erin Lindsay. After all, Sophia Bush’s character is going to consider whether or not she did the right thing by leaving to join the Task Force. We’re sure that Intelligence could use her, but at the same time, is there going to be a spot for her anymore? It’s never so easy that you can just flutter between worlds.
