‘Gotham’ spoilers: Morena Baccarin teases Leslie, Gordon’s future

We’ve learned one thing already about Jim Gordon and Leslie Thompkins on “Gotham,” and that is strictly that these two clearly have an attraction. They have not know each other for a particularly long period of time, but that has not stopped them from evolving and become more and more of a formidable couple.

When you think about it, these are two people with the potential to do a heck of a lot of good, and it goes far beyond just what the two are capable of as a detective and a doctor. They can use their information and skills to help others, and they both seem excited to do that.

“Obviously our relationship heats up and we partner up in many ways … I think these are kindred spirits and they’re excited to meet each other and be in each other’s lives. They’re standing against Gotham in a way. She doesn’t back down from a fight and she’s not fazed by much which is a breath of fresh air from what he’s used to. He doesn’t have to coddle her.”

By the end of the next few episodes, hopefully we are going to get a chance to learn a thing or two more about what this relationship’s true staying power is. Nothing in this world ever stays happy for long, and we therefore have to think that the rules are going to apply here.
