Is ‘Blue Bloods’ season 5, episode 13 new tonight on CBS?

So far during the month of January, we have had the luxury of getting to see a variety of new episodes airing on CBS. This included a series of new episodes of “Blue Bloods,” including the huge 100th episode that marked a real occasion to celebrate for all of those who love the show.

Unfortunately, there is no similar reason to celebrate on this particular Friday night. There is no new episode of the show airing, and you will have to wait until the end of the month to see what happens with Danny and the rest of the cast. Should you be looking forward to it? We certainly believe so, even if there is no real reason to believe that there is anything enormous or super-surprising on the horizon. We still imagine that there are going to be a few interesting stories that catch your interest though since this show is always riding that political line.

As for why we are waiting, it is because CBS wants to ruin a series of consecutive new episodes throughout the February sweeps period, and there are only so many weeks in the season in which the network  can air new installments. This is just a part of the natural ebb and flow of the TV season.

The best thing that we can tell you is that there is still a huge chunk of the season left, and we have zero indication that we are nearing the end of the road for the series. While it may not be a warrior in the 18-49 demographic, we have a hard time imagining a show that is going to fair better for CBS in this timeslot.
