‘Blue Bloods’ season 5 spoilers: A tough story ahead in ‘The Poor Door’

Blue Bloods season 5The hard news for you this week is that there is not a new episode of “Blue Bloods” airing on CBS. Are you bummed out by this? We certainly are, since it means another week of waiting! The only silver lining that we can offer you at the moment is that after the hiatus, we are going to have many different installments all in a row.

One of these particular installments will be entitled “The Poor Door,” and it will air on the network come Friday, February 6. This is a story that could emphasize on potential conflicts within classes, and everything that can happen when you have a variety of different people all residing in the same place. The title itself is almost an indicator of how some of the wealthy are going to look down on the poor.

For a few more updates (if you have not seen them already), take a look at the synopsis below:

“Danny and Baez investigate a murder of a lower income resident in a luxury building where 20 percent of the units are made affordable for lower income housing. Also, Frank takes issue with a detective friend of Gormley’s who takes advantage of his position with legal loopholes.”

We feel like this is a particularly important issue for the series to take on at this moment, largely because it is one that some other crime dramas tend to gloss over in favor of stories that are perhaps a little easier to interpret.
